On the heels of the CyberStorm wargame, there are indicators that this is a info-war propaganda exercise. Two academic proponents of DRM appear to be taking part:
Professor Doug Lichtman of the University of Chicago has recently made comments which may form part of battlespace preparation, advocating copyright industry “self-help” “enforced directly by the interested party’s technologies and physical capabilities.”
Also, Professor Randal Picker, of the same law school has recently blogged about a forthcoming talk using the loaded term “hostage”.
