Review of Google's Desktop 4
The most recent version, Desktop 3, released last winter, was maddeningly close to being very cool. It struck me that how Google addressed its shortcomings in Desktop 4 would say something about the maturity of the company.

GD4 is improved from an interface standpoint, but unfortunately it seems to be quite a bit less stable than GD3. GD4 crashes on me frequently, something that GD3 has never done.
