WashPost: Gamer's Necessity: A Cold Can

Another cool gadget from Kentia Hall.

Coolitsystems.com has a product calledl the Coolit Chiller, which solves a need that all gamers have: keeping beverages cold (gamers drink a lot of soda).

It looks like a little hot plate almost -- it has a USB interface that you plug into your laptop or desktop. That little "cool plate" draws power from the USB port and keeps a soda cold. I mean ice cold.

They said it will retail for about $25, although they're selling them at the show for $15.

They had some sodas that had been sitting there all day, and it felt like I was pulling them out of the freezer.
