Analyst: Apple's 60-gig iPod 'at risk'

Apple may be phasing out its 60-gigabyte Video iPod, according to one analyst who tracks the company. He believes this could mean the company is readying a wide-screen video iPod with Bluetooth headphones that could be ready as early as the June quarter.


This makes some sense, because the 60 gig iPod was never that popular, only the people who really had alot of songs would really use it. But that portion of the market will be upset by this, because of the fact that they MIGHT not make them. If this happens, this will be a blow to Apple, becasue other companies could take the place of a high capacity mp3 player away from Apple...
