Windows vista delayed to 2007

Microsoft has delayed the release of its forthcoming Windows Vista operating system to 2007.

Now this was not expected, I definatley thought it would release this year. This move by Microsoft, ironically annouceing it after the stock-market closed today, is going to effect quite a bit. With them delaying Vista, the pc market may loose profit from this, this also may effect the next generation graphics chipsets, which depend on DirectX-10, and possibly delay them. Its definatley safe now to buy a new computer, thinking that vista wont be comming around for another year, mabe a year and a half.
