Tivo changes prices, eliminates lifetime subscription

Tivo will no longer be offering the lifetime subscription after next week. Looks like I just bought my last Tivo, time to build my own.

It seems that Tivo is starting to shift away from its old ways and is starting to get rid of certain old things, and start to expand to try to stay ahead of the competition from cable/satlite providers DVR products
