Ubuntu voted 'Linux distribution of the year'

This is the latest in a long line of awards that Ubuntu has racked up over the last six months, an impressive achievement considering that the distribution is less than two years old.

This is interesting...I've fiddled around with ubuntu, but I've never really tryed it for long periods. These announcements make me actually interested in Ubuntu, I may install it on my old Inspirion 7000 that I have....hopefully it should work.
