Wii Dev Kits Under $2000 Dollars! 3rd Party Anyone?

Nintendo President Satoru Iwata revealed that Wii development kits would now cost as low as $1,732, opening the doors to even more 3rd party developers and lower game costs! For that price I might just buy one!

It may seem cheap to a developer, but to me, thats pretty expensive to pay for a development kit. Anyway, I have no use for a development kik, sure it would be neat, but I'm more intersted in programming on the computer, but that is just me.
